In 2006 TAEQ won the internationally renowned MED-ENEC award (Energy Efficiency in the Construction Sector in the Mediterranean), sponsored by the European Union. TAEQ was awarded first prize in Israel for the eco-friendly construction techniques which were developed by its research team and implemented in the Green Building. The prize money was used to upgrade the building's energy saving technologies. Representing the country at international events, TAEQ still shares its vast knowledge on green construction at influential platforms.
